Shares of Vista Outdoor were down 10% pre-market Thursday after the company reported mixed fiscal Q4 results and guided FY18 earnings and revenues below expectations compiled by Capital IQ. For Q4 ended March 31, adjusted EPS was $0.03, down sharply from $0.63 per share a year earlier and missing the $0.18 per share consensus.
Revenues fell 5% year-over-year to $578.8 million which still topped expectations for $565.2 million. For FY18, Vista Outdoor said it expects EPS of $1.10 to $1.30 per share on revenues of $2.36 billion to $2.42 billion. Analysts are expecting GAAP EPS of $1.65 per share on revenues of $2.43 billion. Vista Outdoor also said it sealed a long-term agreement with Orbital ATK (OA) to supply ammunition products made at the Lake City Army Ammunition plant in Independence, Missouri through September 2020.
